1. What got you into writing?
My youngest daughter gifted me a an online creative writing course for Christmas during the pandemic. I loved the course so much I enrolled in the Three Month Novel Project and wrote a manuscript that ultimately became The Sunbeam Room.
2. How long have you been writing?
My whole life but I began writing fiction in 2022.
3. What drew you to writing murder mysteries?
As a reader, crime fiction was always my go-to-genre. Ian Rankin, Michael Connelly and Jo Nesbo being just a few authors that I've binged on. And, of course, the wonderful Tana French who is a compelling writer.
4. Why do crows play such an integral role in your Two Crows Mystery series?
The crows are such great foils to Samuel and Flagstaff. They are super-intelligent birds but also are street-savvy urban dwellers, characteristics that each of my amateur sleuths bring to their investigations.
